About Me

Hello, I suppose. If you're reading this I guess that you want to know my story.

I've always had on-going battles with my weight ever since I can remember. Forever hating how I looked when I look back on photos, but just not having the self-worth and motivation to not eat so much. That's my problem... I eat too much, and I eat too much of the wrong stuff. I know full well how to lose weight, but my lack of motivation is down to a lot of things. In fact, here's a little list.

  • I find waaaay too much comfort in food when I feel that everything else lets me down.
  • I'm a boredom eater.
  • I'm a student, and bad at handling money. (So in turn, bad at buying the right food)
  • I'm constantly being told by friends, family and my boyfriend that I'm perfect as I am.
  • I'll be honest... I'm lazy.
  • I don't want to embarrass myself in front of all you stick-thin ladies and gents.
  • I have almost no confidence when it comes to my body.
  • No matter the consequences, I seem to not be able to kickstart myself to make a change.
I suffer from Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and Social Anxiety which is pinned down mostly to my dislike for my appearance. If you would like to know more about BDD, or if you feel that the symptoms are something you could relate to, I urge you to visit your GP as you can get an incredible amount of help in regards to overcoming or learning to deal with it. :)
